I devastly recommend that Zoos should be banned from the world because many animals are abused or threatened by Zookeepers or people who catch the animals (Elephants in Thailand get whacked with sharp sticks to do stuff).
Even if Captivity can extend an animal's lifetime , it changes its behavior acting. Animals get undeniably lazy because they are positioned in a small mimicked area of their habitat , especially because they get feeded their own food and dont have to run for predators and last of all they never have to spurt from predators if in danger.
Obviously , today Zoos use smarter technology to catch wild animals but think of the old times , they used strong wire to wrap around the animals head. They to HURT the animal to put it in a Zoo. Today they use a knockout dart called tranquiliser. Think about it , it still hurts the animal in pain while being knocked out.
I agree because when their wild they can die easy that’s why they put them in the zoo because they get good food and they won't

The animals keeper it’s good to the animals because it’s feed them but when

I agree that zoos should exist.the reason that i agree is because so that the animals would not be extinct,they wouldn't be extinct because the zoo keepers would make them breed(meaning making babies). e.g. bald eagles have been going extinct but Zoos have saved some by breeding in captivity.
Zoos should exist because also they can make them live longer and enjoy their food.

You have added AMAZING detail to your work and I love how you have evidence and facts behind the story you have written! Something I think you could improve on is adding an image relating to you topic to make your blog more eye-catching! I also think you should try to make sure that your punctuation and Capital letters are in the right place! Also for your statements about why you agree about that Zoo's should be banned I disagree with you; I disagree with your statement because although they are good facts I think that Animals should stay in Zoo's because Zoo's are like a second home to animals and at least when the animals are in the zoo they are taken care of and they are very amusing to the kids!

Something you could improve on is re reading your work because at some areas of your writing it didn't make sense, but you did a really good job keep it up!!

ReplyDeleteThis is an outstanding blog post, I really liked how you actually told us about what they are doing to the poor zoo animals, but you need to proof read you work.
This is still a good piece of writing but I've heard that at water world they do the same thing to the whales there, I forgot what it's called but yeah. The whale at water world only live for 20 year but in the wild they could last up to 50-80 year I believe. The whales don't get feed unless the whale do what the instructor says. They also don't get a deep enough cage, which burns the whale skin, they add this substance which doesn't show the burns on its skin. And thats all I know so far about them

I agree with you that zoos should not exist cause of the way the zookeepers treat them which is very bad. This is very well and I also disagree cause I love animals and the only place that I could see them is in the zoo. I am really interested by the way you have written out your opinion on how you believe Zoos should exist and not exist! You have made me think more about my opinion on what I think about Zoos existing! I believe that Zoos should exist even though animals are being taken away from their habitat. I believe this because this helps prevent the animals from being extinct because this helps animals give birth to other animals.
To improve, you can maybe make sure your sentences make sense! Other then that you done such an AMAZING job!

Well I agree with you because, yes everything they've done to these animals were really cruel. Well I recommend that these people have to think about what they do, before they do anything that is hurtful. Do they deserve to be put in this kind of new life situation ? For how long will they hurt the animals ? I also agree with you that they also should have zoo's In case these species go extinct.

ReplyDeleteI have thought about this a lot. On the one hand, Zoos CAN help endangered animals and they DO help to educate us about animals, however, if I were an animal I'm not so sure I would want to be taken out of my home and put in an unnatural environment.
Who decides which animals are put into zoos and which aren't?
Do the animals go willingly? or are they taken against their will?
What are your thoughts? (anyone reading this comment is free to comment as well. I want to know your opinions on this😊)
