A time with my friends.

“ GOAL!!” cheered my team in excitement, because my team just scored a goal against the enemy team. This was my seventh time scoring for my team, and I was extremely loving the game because it was really joyful and it gave me exercise. I was also liking the enemy team because unlike other players in my school the enemy team that I was playing with was playing fair.

After four to five minutes of playing. my team suddenly began losing because we started missing the goal, kicking the ball over the fence. It was a very rough situation for my team, I was beginning to think that my team was useless to me.

Just when I was about to quit, a couple of my friends Eh htoo, Mani and Sunny changed my mind by telling me “hey don’t give up and try until you succeed”. When they told me that I came back with my friends with more courage to play, try and not quit, we played until it was over. That day was the best time of our lives. That's why I will never forget that day with my friends.

Keeping our school clean

Image result for school that has rubbish in nzA couple of days ago, our school caretaker was in distress and annoyed because our school was filled with trash and garbage. He talked to our deputy principal Mr. Ready saying that he was going to re-singh and drop out of his job, but our class teacher Mrs. Sharma didn’t give up on him. She said that “we could have rubbish monitors to pick up rubbish in the morning and during lunch time. These rubbish monitors worked continuously to help mike.

Then a couple of weeks later, our caretaker Mike noticed that our school environment has gotten a lot more cleaner, Mike was a bit shocked and confused on how our school environment is a lot cleaner, because he didn’t know that Room 6 has been helping with his job. But when he knew that Room 6 was helping he gave a warm thanks!! to the rubbish monitors that helped. And one of the monitors was grateful enough to make Mike a gift which had lollies including with a card from the rubbish monitors and Room 6.

After about 2 or 3 weeks later, Mike and our school rubbish monitors have been doing their duty continuously during the morning and especially lunch time.

Varnish ink.
And finally a piece of sandpaper.

Steps.
1st. Cut out the general shape of the foe with a circular saw. Only an adult wearing safety gear does this.

3rd. Use sandpaper to make the foe smooth.
4th. Paint each foe with koru shaped designs. The designs represent waves.
And finally 5th. Varnish the foe.
After you have finished the steps you then can practice your Te tiafoe with your friends.

Bike celebration day.

On Monday the 16th of September. Our whole school had a Bike celebration day close to the school’s bike shed, because a kind guy that was from the Mike Greerer real estate company that built houses, donated our school 25 new bikes. After morning tea which was at 11:30 our teacher Mrs Sharma asked us to get into two lines because we were going to the bike celebration.

Once we got into two lines We walked to the celebration which was at our bike shed. As soon as we got there a teacher from Room 1 which was Mrs jalili told us that we (Room 6) could ride around the bike track two times. But we had to wear helmets to keep us safe. Once I got my helmet I quickly placed it on my head and buckled it up because of my excitement. The new bike was overwhelming because of how  it went very smoothly while I rode it around the bike track.

After my ride around the bike track I went to the Milo station and got a cup of nice and hot milo with also a biscuit. While I was drinking my hot milo I was also watching the kids go by me around the bike track. After drinking my cup of milo I then went to the custom badge making station, when I got there I got a piece of paper and decorated it. When I finished decorating my piece of paper I then gave it to my friend Eh htoo wah that was making my badge. Just after Eh htoo made my badge the bell rang so I went ahead and got back to my class.

We were the last ones to perform. We were sitting patiently on chairs Enjoying the other Performances.

When It was finally our turn, we did our Ma’ulu’ulu. It was really cool and fun because all the parents brought a massive feed for the school in our school hall.

After our performance we went to the city hall to eat lots and different types of tongan food. Me and my friends personal favourite was keke, keke is like a bun but has better taste.

Energy Saving

        Energy saving

On Wed,11 September 2019 we (Rm 6, some of rm 8 and 7) were discussing about two different types of light bulbs. The first light bulb is just a normal light bulb. The Normal Bulb is the Bulb that gets used by most people all around the world, this Bulb is bad because it processes 60 Watts per hour which is 30 cents each hour. This can be a huge problem because all of your Energy usage is added up to the billing Company and can cost an average over up to $112 - 200 dollars. The Normal Bulb also runs out of battery faster than a led Bulb which means you will have to keep buying new Bulbs for your home.

The LED for light Bulbs stands for Light Emitting Diode. A Diode is an electronic Component that has Two Terminals and Conducts Electricity into Light. The LED uses 3x the less amount of Energy that a Normal light Bulb processes. Not everyone knows about the LED Bulb but the word should really be spread about this life-saving money-lowering Bulb. The LED Bulb is only 4 Cents per Hour and will cost you only $30-90 dollars each hour. You will need 21 Normal bulbs for 25,000 hours of use but only 1 LED Bulb for 25,000 hours of use. The only two problems with the LED bulb, is that the LED Bulb can overheat and can give a major 2nd degree burns to your skin. The last problem is that you will need to buy a strong coated LED Bulb because any Weak ones can Explode after a very long time of use.

covers the roof of the building. Filipe Tohi also told us
that he has traveled to Samoa, China, Fiji and many
other countries and islands.

He also made a beautiful model about a vaka meaning
boat in tongan. His biggest project which was a
statchue took 3 years to make. He also showed us a
picture of an ancient monument that was built along
time ago. This ancient monument inspired him to make
his own mini monument, Which was made out of rocks.
Most of his art are made from kafa which means
lashes. His arts like carpets have different meanings
and patterns also pictures. Some of his arts and crafts
sometimes takes years or decades to build.

Stop plastic pollution.

We should stop selling plastic products because when
we throw away our plastic rubbish not in the bin then
the rubbish gets drifted into our ocean which will injure
and kill our animals. Also scientists predict that in the
year 2030 plastic will be more than our fish in the
oceans.

Classification of animals on the basis of what they eat.

The rainforest layers

Image result for the rain forest layers
The rainforest is made up of four different layers.
The first layer is the emergent layer the emergent
layer, the emergent layer can be found on the top of
the rainforests. There are only a few animals that can
be found in the emergent layer, for example Butterflies,
Tarantulas, Hummingbirds and Masaws. It is also hot,
windy and wet.

The next layer is the canopy layer the canopy layer is
located underneath the emergent layer. The Canopy
layer is home to mosals in the rainforests, because
there is plenty of shelter and food for example the
red-eyed tree frogs, sloths and toucans.

Then there's the understory layer, the understory layer
is located beneath the canopy layer. The understory
layer does not get that much sunlight, So it is dark and
humid there. The understory layer is home to smaller
animals like insects, snakes and bats. Also some larger
animals use this layer for hunting.

The last layer of the rainforest is called the forest floor
layer. This layer is very dark and humid because only
5% of the sunlight makes it to the forest floor layer.
The forest floor layer is home to large predators like
anteaters, jaguars and more.

The Earth's regions.

Earth's regions:
These are the earth's three regions. They are called the the
Earth's Oceans, Coral reefs and Antarctic Region. They are
getting polluted because of global warming and water pollution.
There are plastic in our oceans which is causing water pollution
and also causing animals to become extinct and injured.

Coral reefs:
The Coral reefs are possibly found in shallow tropical seas.
They may look like colourful rocks or even plants but they are
living animals that are made out of polyps. Polyps are small
creatures that are related to the jellyfish’s. Coral grows slowly,
only a few centimeters a year.

Antarctic Region:
Antarctica is a icy- covered place where you can find penguins,
Seals and Polar bears. Antarctica is currently melting because
of global warming, this is causing other animals to move to
different places.

The Earth's Oceans:
Oceans cover up ⅔ of the earth's floor. The 5 essential Oceans
are the indian ocean, Arctic Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Southern
Ocean and the Pacific. The Pacific Ocean is the deepest and
the largest Ocean out of the five. There are 5 layers of the
Ocean which is the Sunlight Zone, The twilight zone, Midnight
Zone, Abyss Zone and the Trench Zone. The Sunlight zone is
only 200m below our surface, Sea weeds live there as well as
fish and other sea animals because they need sunlight to grow
and the fish need the seaweed food. 90 % of sea-life is also
there. The Twilight zone is 1000m deep and creatures that
have big eyes live down there to see better.
